I am a Filipino communications strategist, journalist, and knowledge management professional with over a decade of experience spanning print, radio, digital media, and development communications.
I currently serve as Media and Communication Officer at the NGO Forum on ADB and Managing Editor of Remate News Online, where I lead strategic communications, media engagement, editorial management, and knowledge documentation on issues related to sustainable development, climate, governance, and public policy.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to making complex issues accessible to the public through ethical, accurate, and impactful storytelling. My work combines traditional journalism with strategic communications, helping strengthen public discourse and amplify the voices of communities across Asia and the Pacific.
As an ERAI Fellow, I am particularly interested in exploring how artificial intelligence can responsibly enhance journalism, from research and fact-checking to newsroom workflows and audience engagement, while upholding transparency, accountability, and editorial integrity. I hope to develop practical and ethical AI guidance that can support smaller and regional newsrooms in adopting AI responsibly without compromising the core values of journalism.
