Ukrainian statesman and scholar shaping his country’s European integration and human-rights agenda.
Hryhoriy Nemyria is a Ukrainian politician, historian, and sociologist who served as Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European Integration from 2007 to 2010. A member of the Batkivshchyna party, he has chaired the Verkhovna Rada committees on European Integration and on Human Rights, and continues in its foreign-policy leadership. He holds a PhD from Kyiv Shevchenko University and is a graduate of the National Security Program at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
