Oladimeji Ewumi is a freelance medical writer and scientific communications specialist with over five years of experience producing HCP-focused content for leading US medical publications, including MedCentral, Medscape, MDLinx, and Endocrinology Advisor. His work spans cardiometabolic disease, endocrinology, hepatology, and nephrology, with a focus on translating complex clinical evidence into clear, accurate communication for healthcare audiences.

Alongside his medical writing practice, Oladimeji has developed a growing interest in the responsible integration of AI in science and health communication. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, he holds memberships with AMWA, EMWA, RAPS, and APMW, and is a co-author of a PubMed-indexed publication.

Through the ERAI Fellowship, Oladimeji is deepening his understanding of AI governance, misinformation, and the ethical frameworks shaping how AI is used in journalism and media – skills he sees as increasingly essential for science communicators operating in an AI-augmented information environment.
