Solomon Adetunji is a Fellow, Ethics and Responsible Artificial Intelligence (ERAI) Fellowship 2026, Media Programme. He lectures journalism at Department of Mass Communication, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Nigeria. His specialisation entails Sociology of Mass Communication – which revolves around news and reporting, music and messages, films and society, arts and culture, etc. He is a professional art reviewer, radio analyst on socio-cultural issues, author and founder, The Guest Columnists. Award-winning writer for his journalism writing and contributions, among which are: 2017 Sam Omatseye’s 30th Anniversary Journalism Practice Book Prize, 2016 SLAM Youths Hero Award: Rising Star of the Year, 2008 Most Committed and Dedicated Correspondent – North, THE NATION Campus Life. He contributed to Nottingham University Writing Project 2021, and was Mandela Washington Fellowship Application Assessor, 2021-2023. He founded The GUEST COLUMNISTS – a Communication for Development social media platform. His ultimate objective is to close the knowledge gap in journalism and guide next generation on visionary direction towards Ethical and Responsible usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in journalism reporting. The idea of advanced Journalism and Mass Communication in the future through academic contribution and the media sector, also excites him.
